CHRP credits: 1.5

Program Summary:

Training is a powerful tool in your toolkit, but how do you know it’s really needed? It’s a common request, but it’s not always what’s needed. During this webinar, we’ll focus on doing the right things when it comes to training, using the approach of an investment advisor. You’ll identify how to allocate limited resources in your organization to the right training needs. We’ll explore how to determine what the best approach is and how you can prioritize needs. We’ll also share ideas on what to do when it isn’t really a training need.

You Will Learn:
  • Identify learning needs to drive an organization’s strategy
  • How to conduct a needs analysis
  • How to differentiate the needs of the business from the expressed needs/wants of employee groups
  • What to do if a request for training isn’t a training problem
